Biography of Doreen Jacobi

Doreen Jacobi was born on February 28, 1974 in Potsdam. She is a German actress and former model.

Jacobi became known in the early 1990s through the ZDF pre-evening seriesUnser Lehrer Doktor Specht. She was part of the main cast there and shot 13 episodes between 1990 and 1992 while preparing for her high school diploma.

Between 1992 and 1993, Doreen Jacobi studied English/American Studies and Theater Studies and was discovered by a model scout from the Berlin Models agency. In the same year she took second place in the largest model competition in Europe. From 1994 she took private acting classes in London and New York City. In 1995 she completed various dance courses at the Actor's Center in Sydney. In 1997 she reached a larger audience with a leading role in the Sat.1 action series HeliCops - Einsatz über Berlin. Further engagements, mainly in television films and series, followed.

In 1999, Jacobi founded a business software company with other partners, where she works as an IT manager. From 2008 to 2011 she studied part-time information technology at the University of Potsdam and graduated with an MBA.

In 2007, nude photographs of Jacobi appeared in the April issue of Playboy.
