Biography of Yvonne Catterfeld
Yvonne Catterfeld was born on December 2, 1979 in Erfurt. She is a German singer and actress.
Catterfeld, daughter of an industrial welder and a high school teacher, took piano, guitar, singing, ballet and dance lessons from the age of 15, with Kerstin Radtke and Chung Luong, among others.
In 2001 her first single Bum was released under the name Catterfeld, which did not make it into the charts. Over the next two years, Come Back to Me, Nobody Else and Feelings released three more singles under her family name.
In spring 2005 her album Unterwegs with the single was released. She ruled out returning to the RTL series. En route was awarded a gold record.
Catterfeld's spring 2007 tour was canceled due to jaw surgery. Compared to earlier CDs, the album Aura sold rather moderately and occupied number ten in the charts for a week.
Catterfeld's album Blau im Blau, which was realized with a small team and a small band, was only released in March 2010 because of her extensive filming commitments.
After a three-year musical break, Catterfeld's sixth album Lieber so was released on November 22, 2013.

She released the single Patience in January 2021 and the single Let You Go in May 2021. Both songs can be found on their album Change, which was released in December 2021. It is her first album entirely in English.
Catterfeld was involved in a motor scooter accident in Hungary when she was 14, and her front teeth were replaced with implants as a result. In 2007 she developed peri-implantitis as a late consequence.

She then began a relationship with actor Oliver Wnuk, best known as Ulf Steinke on the Pro7 television series Stromberg. The couple met while filming the movie U-900.
