Biography of Addison Rae

Addison Rae was born on October 6, 2000, in Lafayette, Louisiana.

She is the daughter of Sheri Easterling and Monty Lopez. She grew up in Lafayette with her younger brothers, Lucas and Enzo.

At the age of six, she began to participate in dance competitions.

She at Calvary Baptist Academy she practiced gymnastics. After graduating from high school, she attended Louisiana State University, where she studied Sports Broadcasting, though she dropped out to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in social media.

Addison Rae entered social networks very early because her parents participate in TikTok; her mother's account had thirteen million followers, and her father's five million.

She started using Instagram at the age of fourteen and posted the first photo of herself in October of 2014.

Along with such popular tiktokers as Chase Hudson and Charli D'Amelio, she has been part of the group The Hype House since December 2019. By then she had more than a million followers, attracting the attention of several media and talent agencies such as WME, which hired her in January 2020.

In July 2020, she signed an endorsement deal with American Eagle to model for the brand's AExME Back to School '20 campaign.

Since July 2020, she has launched a weekly podcast titled Mama Knows Best. On October 18, she appears on Canceled, a song by American YouTuber Larray. In the same year, she voices Marnie in the animated film Spy Cat.

Addison Rae rose to fame in 2020 when her TikTok account began racking up millions of views posting dance videos earning millions of followers.

As of July 3, 2021, she has amassed over 81 million followers on TikTok, ranking as the third most followed person on the platform behind Charli D'Amelio and Khaby Lame. Her popularity on TikTok helped her gain followers on Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.

She created her self-titled YouTube channel on August 28, 2016, earning more than 135 million views and more than 4.5 million subscribers. Her Twitter page, created in August 2015, reached more than 4.5 million followers and on Instagram, 38 million.

She took advantage of her popularity on social media to launch her cosmetic line Item Beauty, in which she sells various makeup products. Additionally, she signed endorsement deals with brands like American Eagle, Hollister, L'Oréal, and Reebok, becoming one of the highest-earning TikTok stars in the world.

As a singer she debuted in March 2021 with the single Obsessed released by Sandlot Records, reaching number four on the New Zealand Hot Singles chart. She has also appeared on other popular charts, including the Canadian Hot 100, Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles, Irish Singles Chart, and UK Independent Singles Chart. It became the sixth most popular video on YouTube on the day of its release. On March 26, she appeared as a guest on The Tonight Show, where she performed the song.

Addison has also appeared on television shows such as Keeping up with the Kardashians and was cast in the lead role of Padgett Sawyer in the movie He's All That. premiered on Netflix on August 27, 2021.

In October 2020, she stated that she was in a relationship with TikTok star Bryce Hall. In 2021, they broke up due to irreconcilable differences.
