Madison Elle Beer was born on March 5, 1999 in Jericho, Long Island, New York. She is an American singer.
Madison Beer went to school in Jericho and later started private lessons. Her parents separated and her father, Robert, remarried. Because of Madison's early career, she and her parents moved to Los Angeles. Beer has a younger brother named Ryder, who is a model. She is Jewish and of Ashkenazi descent.
Beer began uploading cover versions of well-known songs to her YouTube channel in early 2012. After Canadian musician Justin Bieber shared the link to her cover of the song At Last by Etta James on Twitter, she received a lot of attention. Bieber arranged for her to be signed to Island Records, the label he is also signed to. From that point on, manager Scooter Braun stood by her side.
Beer sang for the Monster High franchise's theme song We Are Monster High. In February 2013, the song Valentine appeared on the Internet. This was created in collaboration with the American singer Cody Simpson and was occasionally played on the "Radio Disney" station. Although the song was not officially released as a single, it was featured on her SoundCloud profile. On September 12, 2013, Beer released her debut single, Melodies, co-written and co-produced by English producer team TMS with Ina Wroldsen. The official music video also features Justin Bieber as a guest.
Beer began working on other music, which she credited with strong R&B and pop influences. She announced songs of different themes, rhythms and moods.
Unbreakable was released as a single. The song was released on June 17, 2014. A new team of producers stood by her. On December 6, 2014, Beer recorded a million followers on Twitter for the first time. The song reached several positions on the US EDM and Airplay charts.
On September 4, 2015, she released the song All for Love, which was a collaboration with American pop-rapper duo Jack & Jack. The joint music video followed on September 16, 2015. On December 18, 2015, Beer released the song Something Sweet as a single. However, this did not appear on "Island Records", but on the record label "MB Productions".
On May 19, 2017, the song Dead was released as the lead single from their upcoming EP, after being announced on Beers Instagram on May 12, 2017.
After almost three years of work, she completed her first EP in early 2018. She released it under the title As She Pleases on February 2, 2018. After she first became active as a songwriter on I Won't Let You Walk Away, she also wrote several tracks of the album for the EP. Raye and Madison Love, among others, participated as songwriters on the extended play.
On March 11, 2018, the As She Pleases Tour began their first international tour. In total, she performed in 30 cities until the finals took place on May 20, 2018. Home with You, the third and final single, was released ten days earlier on May 10, 2018.
On September 14, 2018, French DJ and producer David Guetta released his seventh studio album 7, which featured Madison Beer on vocals on the song Blame It on Love.
On May 17, 2019, the single Dear Society was released, in which Madison criticized the influence of the internet, social media and society. In August 2019 she joined the record label Epic Records.
On February 26, 2021 her debut album Life Support was released, which was preceded by the singles Good in Goodbye, Selfish, Baby and BOYSHIT.
