Rachael Leigh Cook was born on October 4, 1979 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is an American actress and model.

Cook was already modeling at the age of ten and has appeared in commercials and in an anti-drug campaign. She graduated from high school in 1998.

She made her international breakthrough as an actress with the film She's All That alongside Freddie Prinze junior. In a plot typical of teen movies, she transforms from ugly duckling to desirable partner for the upcoming prom.

In addition to feature films, she took on several guest roles in Dawson's Creek and Las Vegas. Also a role in the mystery series Outer Limitsbelongs to her appearances.
