Biography of Maisie Williams
Margaret Constance Maisie Williams was born on April 15, 1997 in Bristol, England. She is an English actress, best known for her role as Arya Stark on the television series Game of Thrones.
Williams grew up in Somerset and attended Norton Hill School in Midsomer Norton. Since then she has been studying dance at the Susan Hill School of Dancing. In 2010 she was cast in the British film Nanny Among the last two candidates, but did not get the role. She is best known for her first role as Arya Stark, the youngest daughter of the Lord of Winterfell, in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones, based on the George R.R. Martin novels A Song of Ice and Fire. She received several nominations for this role, including Emmy Awards (Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series), Screen Actors Guild Awards (six Best Ensemble Actors in a Drama Series category), SFX Awards (Best Actress), and Young Artist Awards (Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series). In 2015 she won the Shooting Star award at the Berlinale and the Saturn Award for best young TV actress.
