Emeraude Toubia was born on March 1, 1989 in Montreal, Canada. She is a Canadian-American actress, presenter and model.

Emeraude Toubia grew up in Brownsville, Texas, United States. She is of Mexican and Lebanese descent.

Toubia's career began at the age of ten while starring on a television show. She has also participated in several pageants and was crowned Miss South Texas, RGV Miss America, Miss Teen Brownsville and Miss Texas USA 2010, among others.

Toubia rose to prominence in 2008 for her participation in the second season of the Univision reality show Nuestra Belleza Latina, which she left as a runner-up. Through the show, she received ad campaigns for brands like Maybelline, J.C. Penney, State Farm, Garnier, Sony, and AT&T. At the same time, she began acting training. In 2009 she took part in the second season of the talent show Model Latina and took 5th place.

In 2010, Toubia made her acting debut. In the next four years she was increasingly seen in supporting roles in Venezuelan telenovelas. From 2016 to 2019, Toubia portrayed the role of Isabelle Lightwood in the Freeform television series Shadowhunters. The series is based on the novel series The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare.

Toubia has been in a relationship with singer Prince Royce since 2011, which was only officially confirmed in April 2016. They married on November 30, 2018 in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. The couple reside in Studio City, Los Angeles. They announced plans to divorce in March 2022.
