Rosie Alice Huntington-Whiteley was born on April 18, 1987 in Plymouth,England. She is a British model and ac tress.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is the daughter of a fitness trainer and a surveyor. She has a younger brother and a younger sister. Her great-great-grandfather was the politician and MP Sir Herbert Huntington-Whiteley, 1st Baronet. Often teased during her childhood due to her full lips, which she is now famous for, and her double surname, she was also voted by her classmates at the age of 13 as the most likely person to become a supermodel.

In 2003 she was discovered by a model scout and then appeared in front of the camera for the first time at the age of 16. In 2004 she made her catwalk debut in New York City and at the same time became the face of Tommy Hilfiger. She has been modeling for the US underwear label Victoria's Secret since 2006.

In 2008, Christopher Bailey hired her to replace Agyness Deyn for Burberry's autumn/winter campaign, which earned her the cover of British fashion magazine Vogue. The following year, she was the face of fashion chain Karen Millen's spring-summer campaign, as well as the fall-winter campaigns of Godiva and Miss Sixty.

In 2009 she was honored with the Elle Style Award as "Model of the Year", in November she also became an official Victoria's Secret Angel and thus an integral part of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows in New York City.

In 2010 she was photographed by photographer Terry Richardson for the world-famous Pirelli calendar and had catwalk appearances for Prada in Milan and Giles Deacon in Paris, among others. She has also appeared on the covers of Harper's Bazaar in Russia, Gentlemen's Quarterly in the UK and LOVE Magazine.

She also presented the spring/summer collections of Monsoon, Thomas Wylde, Full Circle and VS Online, as well as the autumn/winter collections of Burberry, Loewe, Thomas Wylde and Leon Max. Portrait and fashion photographer Rankin published to celebrate the fifth anniversary of British fashion label Thomas Wylde's photo book Ten Times Rosie, in which she portrayed ten different characters representing the label's ten seasons to date.

She once again graced the cover of British Vogue in March 2011 and the covers of Elle and Gentlemen's Quarterly in July. In June 2011, she posed for Turkish swimwear manufacturer Ay Yildiz.

During the shooting of a short film by the lingerie label Agent Provocateur, her acting was so convincing that the US director Michael Bay who was present invited her to audition for the female lead in the film Transformers 3. She was able to win the casting, replacing Megan Fox, who had played the female lead of Mikaela Banes in the two previous parts. She received the Female Star of Tomorrow award at the 2011 CinemaCon Awards. In July 2011 she became the advertising face for "Burberry-Body", the first own fragrance of the fashion brand Burberry. Also in 2011, she won the Guys Choice Awards in the Our New Girlfriend category.

She was voted Sexiest Woman in the World 2011 by the international readers of the men's magazines Maxim and FHM. For the Fall/Winter 2012/2013 collection of the British retailer Marks & Spencer, she designed her first own underwear collection, which she supplemented with pajama sets, pyjamas, silk nightgowns with a vintage look and dressing gowns.

She is now also an entrepreneur with the beauty line Rosie for Autograph and the beauty website Rose Inc.

From August 2007 to October 2009 she was in a relationship with Tyron Wood, the youngest son of the " Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood. She then had a relationship with French actor Olivier Martinez. She has been in a relationship with British actor Jason Statham since April 2010. The couple got engaged in 2016. In February 2017, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley announced her pregnancy. On June 24 of the same year, their son Jack Oscar Statham was born. Their daughter Isabella James Statham was born on February 2, 2022.
