Biography of Hayley Williams

Hayley Nichole Williams was born on December 27, 1988 in Meridian, Mississippi. She is an American singer-songwriter and keyboardist.

Hayley Nichole Williams is the daughter of Joey and Cristi. Williams has two younger half-sisters, McKayla and Erica.

After her parents divorced, Williams moved with her mother to Franklin, Tennessee, where she met her future bandmates, Josh and Zac Farro, at school. Shortly after moving, she began taking singing lessons from Brett Manning. While at school, Williams was a member of local funk band The Factory, which also featured Jeremy Davis, who later became Paramore bassist.

Paramore was officially formed in 2004 by Hayley Williams (vocals), Josh Farro (guitar), Zac Farro (drums) and Jeremy Davis (bass); the Farro brothers and Davis had previously made music together, but at the time they had not found a member to sing.

In 2005 the first album All We Know Is Falling was released. 2007 followed Riot!, 2009 Brand New Eyes and 2013, the first album without the two founding members Josh and Zac Farro, Paramore.

In 2009, Williams released a solo song called Teenagers, which was included on the Jennifer's Body soundtrack. Williams can also be seen alongside her bandmates in the music video Kiss Me by the band New Found Glory. In 2010, she promised rapper B.o.B to be a part of his single Airplanes. The song became a hit and successfully established them in the music business.

In 2015, Williams filmed alongside a number of other artists such as Ellie Goulding or Selena Gomez and Jessica Alba as Crimson Curse the music video for Taylor Swift's Bad Blood.

In 2016, together with her stylist and now best friend Brian O'Connor, she founded the hair coloration label "goodDYEyoung".

On January 22, 2020 she released the first single Simmer from her solo project Petals For Armor.

Williams suffers from depression and p>ost-traumatic stress disorder, which at times caused her to leave Paramore in mid-2015, although this was never fully publicized.

Williams speaks out against the consumption of cigarettes, alcohol and drugs.
