Alessandra Ambrosio (April 11, 1981, Erechim, Brazil) is one of the most admired and praised supermodels in the world of fashion and advertising, both for her spectacular beauty and her glamorous bearing. Her parents, of Italian and Polish-Brazilian descent, owned an oil station.
As a very young girl, at 8 years old, she already wanted to be a model; At 12, she enrolled in a mannequin school, where she learned to walk down the catwalk and pose for the cameras. At the age of 11, she insisted on getting rid of a secret complex of hers but that caused her insecurity: her ears, in her opinion, were too big. So she underwent a cosmetic surgery operation that she has always looked back on with deep distaste.
She started parading at the age of 15, in 1996, for Dixon Stein, and was a finalist in Brazil's Elite Model Look, an award in which she dazzled for her beauty and sensuality and led her to be the image of The Millennium GUESS campaign, along with her friend, the Brazilian model Ana Beatriz Barros.

Delighted with her status as a mother, she has been doubly so after her union with the Californian businessman Jamie Mazur: on August 24, 2008, her first daughter, Anja Louise, was born, and on May 7, 2012, a boy Noah came into the world.
In July 2012, she collaborated in the closing ceremony of the London Olympic Games and was the model chosen to wear the famous Fantasy Bra, created every year by the Victoria's Secret lingerie brand for its Fashion Show. The one that Alessandra Ambrosio wore was called the Floral Fantasy Bra, it was valued at almost 3 million euros and consisted of sapphires, rubies, diamonds with a matching belt with more than 5,2000 precious stones, designed by the London Jewelers brand.
