Gisele Bündchen is a supermodel, one of the most important and successful of the 21st century.

During an excursion to Sao Paulo, she was eating a hamburger in a shopping center when she was discovered by a talent scout from the Elite agency. She participated in the international model contest organized by the agency in Ibiza and came second.

In 1997, at London Fashion Week, she passed a casting that required her to walk in dizzying heels on a wet floor. It was the moment when she changed her life. That test was for Alexander McQueen's already legendary 'Rain' parade. At the age of 18, she was the image of up to six luxury firms.

From 2000 to 2005, she had an on-and-off relationship with actor Leonardo Di Caprio. After dating surfer Kelly Slater, Pamela Anderson's ex, in December 2006, she began her romance with American football player Tom Brady. The relationship began with a small surprise: his ex, actress Bridget Moynahan, discovered that she was pregnant after they had ended the relationship.

Gisele and Tom were married in February 2009. Gisele and Tom are the parents of a young couple: Benjamin Rein (born December 2009) and Vivian Lake (December 2012).

She has managed her career with the expertise of a businesswoman. At just 21 years old, she announced her retirement from the frenetic world of the catwalk.

In 2007, she was the richest model with €6.7 million, more than three times that of second-placed Kate Moss. In 2012, Gisele's turnover rose to a stratospheric 33.5 million, five times more than her follower, again Kate Moss.

In April 2015, Gisele bids farewell to the catwalk with one last show at Fashion Week in Sao Paulo.
