Biography of Meera Chopra

Meera Chopra, known as Nila in the Tamil film industry, is an actress in the South Indian film industry.

She received her bachelor's degree from Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, Michigan, USA. After studying Mass Communications in New York, Meera worked at a major national television network but quickly left because she felt she was being offered a crude offer.

Meera Chopra comes from the modeling world. Her first film was Anbe Aaruyire (Ah Ahh), produced and directed by S.J. Suryah in which she starred. It is Suryah who is in charge of taking her to the movies and has changed her name to Nila which is moon in Tamil.
