Biography of Tammin Sursok

Tammin Pamela Sursok was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, on August 19, 1983. She is an Australian actress and singer of South African origin.

Tammin Sursok was born to Daryl and Julie Sursok in Johannesburg, South Africa. At the age of 4, she emigrated to Sydney, Australia with her family. Her mother Julie de Ella is a classically trained pianist and guitarist and as a result, Sursok grew up surrounded by music.

In the year 2000, Sursok began her role as Dani Sutherland on Home and Away. In 2001, she was nominated for, and won, the Logie Award for Best New Female Talent.

In early 2004, Sursok began recording material for his debut album Whatever Will Be. She worked with producers who have worked with names like Britney Spears, Dido and Christina Aguilera.

In early 2006 Sursok officially moved into an apartment in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, where she began to focus on her acting career. She filmed a guest role on the short-lived CBS show, Rules of Engagement, spent a month in Missouri filming a leading role in the independent film, Farm Albino, and has landed a supporting role in the film Crossing Over, starring Harrison Ford. Sursok has also taken on the role of Colleen Carlton in the long-running American soap opera, The Young and the Restless. In 2009, she left the series.

In late 2010, Tammin Sursok played the role of "Carrie" on Flicka 2. Tammin made her musical comeback in recording songs for the Nickelodeon musical, made-for-television movie, Spectacular! released through Nick Records.

Sursok was nominated for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series at the 35th Daytime Emmy Awards in 2008 for her performance as Colleen in The Young and the Restless.

She was set to release her second studio album in 2010 and says that her new direction in music will surprise her fans. Sursok stars in the thriller production of the original After Dark, Husk.

In June 2010, Sursok appeared as a recurring character on the ABC Family drama Pretty Little Liars. She plays the role of Jenna Marshall. Sursok also appeared in Hannah Montana as Jackson's girlfriend Siena. On May 28, 2011, she was promoted to series regular on Pretty Little Liars.

In January 2011, Tammin became engaged to her boyfriend, Director Sean McEwan, and they married on August 24, 2011 in Italy. On October 8, 2013, the couple welcomed their first daughter, Phoenix Emmanuel Sursok. - McEwen. On January 17, 2019, they welcomed their second daughter, Lennon Bleu Sursok-McEwen.
