Madelaine Petsch was born on August 18, 1994 in Port Orchard, Washington. She is an American actress. She plays the role of Cheryl Blossom in the US series Riverdale.
Petsch was born in 1994 in the USA. At the age of three she began taking dance classes and two years later enrolled in theater classes. Her parents are from South Africa and she lived in both South Africa and Washington State for the first ten years of her life. She attended Tacoma School of the Arts and moved to Los Angeles after graduating. Petsch has one brother.
Petsch appeared in a national advertising campaign for Coca-Cola in 2014. In February 2016 she was cast as Cheryl Blossom in the series Riverdale. Filming began in September 2016. In March 2017, she began filming the film Polaroid, which was released in 2019. In April 2018, she collaborated with sunglass company Privé Revaux and released her own sunglass collection.
