Biography of Rakul Preet Singh
Rakul Preet Singh was born in New Delhi, on 10 October 1990. She is an Indian actress and model.
She was born into a Punjabi family in 1990. She attended the Army Public School in the Dhaula Kuan district of New Delhi, later she graduated in mathematics from Jesus and Mary College. Singh has also been a nationally active golfer.
She started her modeling career in high school. Around the same time, in 2009, she made her debut as an actress in the film Gilli.
She also participated in the 2011 Miss Female India pageant, finishing fifth, winning five beauty pageants, among the title of "Miss India People's Choice". She decided to become a full-time actress, starring in 2011 in Telugu in the film, Keratam, and, for the first time in Tamil in the film, Thadaiyara Thaakka, the following year. In 2014 she also made her Bollywood debut in the film, Yaariyan, improving her acting skills.
