Biography of Pragya Jaiswal

Pragya Jaiswal is an Indian actress and model mainly working in Telugu films.

Jaiswal made her Hindi film debut with Titoo MBA. Shee also appeared in films such as Nakshatram (2017) and Achari America Yatra (2018). In 2021, she starred as the IAS officer in the hit film Akhanda.

Pragya Jaiswal graduated from the Pune Symbiosis College of Law.

During her early days at Symbiosis University, she entered various beauty pageants and became a successful model. In 2014 she received the Symbiosis Sanskritik Puraskar for her services to the arts and culture.

Jaiswal made her acting debut in the Indian-Tamil-Telugu bilingual film Virattu and Dega, released in 2014. In 2015 she starred in the Telugu film Mirchi Lanti Kurradu and later in the historical drama Kanche directed by Krish. Jaiswal had previously auditioned for a role in Krish's Gabbar Is Back. She didn't get the role, but Krish later offered her the role in Kanche. She appeared in Jaya Janaki Nayaka along with Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Rakul Preet Singh and Jagapathi Babu.

She had a guest appearance for the song "Anandam" in the devotional biopic Hathiram Bhavaji directed by K. Raghavendra Rao for Nagarjuna's Om Namo Venkatesaya 133 million worldwide in 2017.
