Evelyn Lakshmi Sharma was born on July 12, 1986 in Aschaffenburg. She is a German-Indian actress and model.

Evelyn Sharma was born in Aschaffenburg in 1986 as the daughter of a German father and an Indian father. She studied economics and briefly worked in the real estate industry. She later modeled for cosmetics companies in the UK. Today it stands u. a. for Indian lingerie brand Bodycare Modell.

She began acting with a cameo in the 2006 British film Turn Left. In 2012, Evelyn Sharma made her Bollywood debut in the film From Sydney with Love.

Sharma speaks eight languages: German, English, Hindi, French, Spanish, Thai, Russian and Tagalog (Filipino).

Since 2021, she has also hosted the English-language podcast "Love Matters" on topics related to relationships and sexuality, a co-production of Deutsche Welle (DW) and the Indian media company Indian Express.
