Biography of Lacey Chabert
Lacey Nicole Chabert was born in Purvis, Mississippi on September 30, 1982. She is an American.
Chabert was born the daughter of Julie, a homemaker, and Tony Chabert, a Francophone Cajun from Louisiana who worked as a maintenance worker for an oil company. She has a young brother, T.J., and two sisters, Wendy and Crissy, one of whom owns her own restaurant in Purvis.
Chabert took on the character of Bianca Montgomery in the ABC soap opera All My Children (1993). Became internationally famous for her role as Claudia Salinger on Party of Five.
Since 1998, she has been the voice of Eliza Thornberry on The Thornberrys including the film adaptations of The Wild Thornberrys: The Movie (2002) and Rugrats Go Wild (2003).She was the voice of Meg Griffin in the first and part of the second season of Family Guy (1999) being later replaced by Mila Kunis. Chabert played the title role in the "TV-only" film The Brooke Ellison Story, produced by by Christopher Reeve, based on true events where a quadriplegic woman has to overcome various obstacles to graduate from Harvard.
She starred in Mean Girls (2004) and the television movie Hello Sister, Goodbye Life (2006) on ABC Family. She appeared in the remake of Black Christmas (2006). She also made the movie An Unexpected Inheritance in 2006, under the name of Olivia. She appeared in an episode of Ghost Whisperer alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt. She was the voice of Princess Elise in the Sonic video game for PS3 and Xbox 360. She lent her voice to Gwen Stacey in The Spectacular Spider-Man (2008).
Chabert won the 2005 MTV Movie Award for Mean Girls alongside Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried. She won two YoungStar Awards from the annual Hollywood Reporter for Best Performance for Best Young Actress for the series Party of Five and was nominated three times for her work between 1999 and 2000 for the YoungStar Awards honorary for Best Film, Television and musical performance created exclusively for ages 6-18.
In 2007 Chabert starred in the pilot episode of the comedy The Hot Years on FOX, whose plot revolved around four friends who live together. The pilot was not ordered to series on FOX. Chabert was a cover girl for Maxim magazine in January 2007.
She has defined herself as a Christian. She recently showed her faith in God and spends time with her family whom she considers important to her.
In 2013, the actressmarriedDave Nehdar in Los Angeles. Her daughter, Julia Mimi Bella Nehdar, was born on September 1, 2016.
