Biography of Halle Berry
Halle Berry was born on August 14, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio.
She is the daughter of Jerome Jesse Berry, an African-American, and white nurse Judith Ann Hawkins. When she was just four years old, her father left home being raised by her mother. She has a sister named Heidi who was born in 1964.
She rose to fame by winning the Teen Miss America pageant in 1985 and placing second in the Miss America pageant in 1986. She was also a sought-after model.
She appears in various television series such as Living Dolls.
Her debut on the big screen was with The Last Boy Scout in 1991, a film that starred Bruce Willis.
He had his first big role in the romantic comedy Boomerang (1992), then went on to star in The Flintstones (1994), Bulworth (1998), and the television movie Introducing Dorothy Dandridge (1999), for which he won a Primetime Emmy and Globe Award of gold.
Halle Berry played the comic book superheroine in Catwoman (2004) after being Storm, the white-haired mutant, in X-Men (2000).
She signed a multi-million dollar contract with the Revlon cosmetics firm, which made her a worldwide celebrity.
She won the Oscar for best actress for Monsters Ball (2002), she was the first black actress to achieve it. Berry, also had her role as a Bond girl in Die Another Day, repeated for the seventh time in 2003 in the popular list of the 50 most beautiful people in the world prepared by People magazine.

She then works on Frankie and Alice (2009), for which she was awarded the Black Film Critics Association Award for Best Actress, and was nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Actress.
In 2011, she appeared in New Years Eve and had a role in the movie Cloud Atlas, which was released in October 2012. In October 2013, she began shooting as the lead in Extant, a sci-fi television series created by Mickey Fisher. She played a working class mother in the drama Kings (2017).
Her directorial debut was with Bruised, in which she plays an MMA fighter named Jackie Justice. Filming began in 2019.
In 1992, she married baseball star David Justice, whom she divorced in 1997.
In 2001 she married the singer Eric Benét from whom she separated in 2003.
On March 16, 2008, Berry gave birth to her first child, Nahla Ariela Aubry, who she had with her then-partner, Gabriel Aubry.
Since the end of 2010, she has been related to the French actor Olivier Martinez whom she met during the filming of the movie Dark Tide. The couple married on July 13, 2013 in France.
On October 6, 2013, the American actress gave birth to her second child at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, a boy, the result of her relationship with Olivier Martínez. They divorced in December 2016.
She started dating American musician Van Hunt in 2020.
