Ali Germaine Landry was born on July 21, 1973 in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. She is an American actress and model. She was crowned Miss USA in 1996.

Ali Germaine Landry is of French descent. She graduated from Cecilia High School in 1991, where she was captain of the cheerleading team. She then studied communications at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she was a member of the Kappa Delta fraternity. At the same time, she appeared in beauty pageants and was Miss Louisiana Teen USA 1990. With her title of Miss Louisiana USA 1996, she was elected Miss USA in the same year. This qualified her for Miss Universe, where she finished in the last six.

Ali Landry has been married twice. She sat on the jury for Miss Teen USA 1998 and met fellow judge Mario Lopez. Both married in 2004 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Two weeks later she had the marriage annulled. The reason she gave was Lopez's many infidelities during their relationship. Two years later, she married Mexican director Alejandro Gomez Monteverde, with whom she has two children, born in 2007 and 2011.
