Emma Rose Roberts was born on February 10, 1991 in Rhinebeck, New York. She is an American actress, model and singer.

Emma Roberts was born in Rhinebeck, New York, to actor Eric Roberts. Her parents were not married to each other. She has two half-siblings from her father's marriage to Eliza Roberts and one half-sister from her mother Kelly's marriage. Emma's aunt is actress Julia Roberts.

Emma Roberts visited her aunt Julia Roberts and her father at their respective film locations at an early age and thus became aware of acting. Although her mother was initially opposed to her daughter's film career, Roberts made her debut in 2001 in Ted Demme's film Blow.

From September 2004 she appeared in the Nickelodeon series Unfabulous and gained notoriety with the role of Addie Singer.

Roberts' first song, If I Had It My Way, served as the soundtrack for the Disney film Ice Princess. The debut album Unfabulousand More: Emma Roberts was released on September 27, 2005 and accompanied the series Unfabulous as a soundtrack.

In 2006, Roberts starred alongside Joanna Levesque and Sara Paxton in the film Aquamarine, based on the Alice Hoffman book.

Roberts also works as a model for the designer label Dooney & Bourke. Since May 2007 you can buy her own bag (“The Emma Bag”) there. In the same year, the film Nancy Drew was released, in which she again plays a leading role. Wild Child followed in 2008; in this film, Roberts portrayed the spoiled Poppy Moore, who at first reluctantly goes to boarding school and later discovers the benefits of her school.

In 2009 she starred as Alice Leeds in the drama Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac. Roberts portrays basketball player Abby in James C. Strouse's comedy The Winning Season. Director Derick Martini's drama Lymelife, in which Roberts plays Adrianna Bragg, was only released on DVD.

In February 2009, Roberts was named Neutrogena's brand ambassador, appearing in print and television advertisements for the company.

She has appeared on Teen Vogue's Best Dresses list multiple times, including June 2007, September 2008, December 2008, and February 2009.

In 2011, she also appeared in the fourth installment of the Scream series, alongside Hayden Panettiere. She took on the role of the cousin of the previous main character Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell). In early August 2013, she starred alongside Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis in the comedy We Are the Millers.

From October 2013 to January 2015 she was a regular cast member of the FX horror series American Horror Story. She then took on the lead role of Chanel Oberlin in the horror comedy television series Scream Queens.

In September 2018, Emma Roberts became the spokesperson of a new FIAT USA advertising campaign, in which she debunked some social media prejudices in amusing episodes.

Emma Roberts currently resides in Los Angeles and was in a relationship with actorChord Overstreetfrom July 2011 to February 2012.
