Jordana Brewster was born on April 26, 1980 in Panama City, Panama. She is an American actress.

Jordana Brewster's mother, Maria João, is a former Brazilian swimsuit model and was on the cover of Sports Illustrated two years before Jordana was born. Her father, Alden Brewster, is an investment banker. She has a younger sister named Isabella. Her grandfather, Kingman Brewster, is a former President of Yale University and Ambassador to the UK. She studied at Sacred Heart School in New York City and later at Yale University in New Haven.

Brewster made her acting debut on the television series All My Children. She had her two most successful roles in 1998 in The Faculty as Delilah Profitt and in 2001 in The Fast and the Furious as Mia Toretto, the sister of Vin Diesel's film character Domenic Toretto. From 2009 she was also seen in the sequels to The Fast and the Furious: Fast & Furious - New Model. Genuine parts, Fast & Furious Five, Fast & Furious 6, Fast & Furious 7 and Fast & Furious 9.

From June 2012 to September 2014, she played Elena Ramos on the TNT series Dallas, the sequel to the 1980s series of the same name. Brewster then starred in the first season of American Crime Story (2016) and played the lead role of Kate Warner in the second season of Secrets and Lies.

From 2000 to 2001, Brewster was in a relationship with fellow actor and model Mark Wahlberg. She has been married to film producer Andrew Form since 2007; the marriage produced two sons. In July 2020, Brewster filed for divorce.
