Amyra Dastur was born on May 7, 1993. She is an Indian actress. She made her debut in the film Issaq, alongside Prateik Babbar. She took part in the casting of the science fiction thriller Mr. X by Mukesh Bhatt alongside Emraan Hashmi. She also acted in a Tamil film, Anegan alongside Dhanush.
Amyra Dastur ,born Amy Dastur, began her studies at the Cathedral and John Connon School, the private Indian school, located in Bombay in the state of Maharashtra. She had her secondary education at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in the same city, but dropped out to continue acting. She is currently studying at HR College, Mumbai.
Although she was born and raised in Mumbai, Amira herself says her Hindi is not too good. Dastur is Parsi and she speaks English and Gujarati at home.
Dastur started her career at the age of 16 as a model in commercials. She has modeled for Clean and Clear, Dove, Vodafone and Micromax4.
Amyra made her Bollywood debut in 2013 in the Hindi film Issaq directed by Manish Tiwary, where she played the role of Bachchi Kashyap alongside Prateik Babbar.
Her first international project was the role of Kyra in Kung Fu Yoga, which was released in India on February 3, 2017, where she starred with Jackie Chan.
Her Telugu debut was in 2018 at Raju Gadu alongside Raj Tarun, and at Manasuku Nachindi alongside Sundeep Kishan, under the direction of Manjula Ghattamaneni.
