Biography of Minka Kelly

Minka Kelly is an American actress, born on June 24, 1980 in Los Angeles.

Minka is the only child of Rick Dufay (guitarist of the group Aerosmith between 1981 and 1984) and Maureen Kelly, a dancer. Maureen raised Minka on her own and they moved often to different areas before settling in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She has French and Irish ancestry on her father's side and Dutch and Indonesian ancestry on her mother's side.

Revealed in 2006 for her role as cheerleader Lyla Garrity in the acclaimed drama series Friday Night Lights, she then appeared in the more ephemeral programs Charlie's Angels (2011) then Almost Human (2013).

In the cinema, she carries the thriller The Roommate (2011), she lends her features to Jackie Kennedy in the acclaimed biographical drama film The Butler (2013) and she is at the poster of the spy thriller Night Hunter (2018).

Between 2016 and 2017, after having intervened in the series The Path and Jane the Virgin, she landed a recurring role in the DC Comics series, Titans, broadcast on the Warner streaming platform, from 2018.

After dating actor Donald Faison for a year, Minka was in a relationship with musician John Mayer between September 2007 and January 20083.

She was then the companion of baseball player, Derek Jeter. The couple separated several times and then reconciled. In February 2012, they definitively put an end to their romantic relationship.

In August 2012, Minka began dating actor Chris Evans, however, they broke up in October 2013.

From September 2016 to March 2017, she was in a relationship with Josh Radnor.

From July 2017 to January 2018, she was in a relationship with Jesse Williams, met on the set of the video game Detroit: Become Human.

In October 2017, it was revealed that the actress was among the victims of harassment and sexual assault by Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.

She is in a 2020 relationship with Trevor Noah.
