Biography of Catherine Tresa

Catherine Tresa Alexander is an Indian actress who appears in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada films.

Born to Malayali parents in Dubai, she only returned to Bangalore for her higher education. During her studies, she learned piano, singing, dancing as well as skating and public speaking. In Dubai, she serves as a model for fashion school shows.

Catherine Tresa made her debut in a Kannada film in 2010 titled Shankar IPS alongside Duniya Vijay then in the Malayalam films The Thriller and Uppukandam Brothers: Back in Action.

In 2013, she played the leading female role in Puri Jagannath's Telugu film, Iddarammayilatho. The film, released in June, received good reviews including that of the Times of India which wrote: “Catherine Tresa is the perfect person for the character of Akanksha”.
