Biography of Aditi Rao Hydari

Aditi Rao Hydari was born on October 28, 1986, in Hyderabad, India. She is an Indian actress and singer, working mainly in Bollywood and Tamil cinema. Hydari made her screen debut in the Malayalam film Prajapati in 2006. Later on, she also acted in several films in Telugu and Marathi languages.

Glory to Aditi Rao Hydari came after her role in the romantic thriller Sudhir Mishra's Yeh Saali Zindagi. The role earned her the Screen Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2012. Since then, she has appeared in supporting roles in several Hindi films, including the musical melodrama Rockstar (2011), the romantic comedy Khoobsurat(2014) and the thriller Wazir (2016). Aditi Rao Hydari received the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for Best Actress (according to critics) for her lead role in the thriller Bhoomi (2018). In 2017, she starred in Mani Ratnam's Kaatru Veliyidai as Leela Abraham, making her name in Tamil and Telugu cinema. Hydari as Queen Maliki-e-Jahan in the historical drama Padmaavat (2018) was well received by critics.

Hydari also starred in Sudhir Mishra's political thriller Daas Dev, an adaptation of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's 1917 novel Devdas, in which she played the role of Chandramukhi. The actress also appeared in the Telugu space thriller Antariksham 9000 KMPH.

In 2005 and 2009 it was reported that Aditi Rao Hydari was married to Satyadeep Mishra, a Bollywood and television actor. Hidari declined to comment on her marital status in a 2012 interview, but she later mentioned in a 2013 interview that they had broken up. Hidari met Mishra at the age of 17, she had her first serious relationship with him. Hydari married him at the age of 21, but kept the marriage a secret until she made her Bollywood debut. Now the former spouses are close friends.
