Ashley Victoria Benson was born on December 18, 1989 in Anaheim, California. She is an American actress and model. From 2010 to 2017 she played the role of Hanna Marin in the US series Pretty Little Liars.

Benson was born on December 18, 1989 in the Anaheim Hills, just east of the metropolitan city of Anaheim, Orange County, where she was raised. Already at the age of three she took part in dance competitions and competitions and was particularly successful in ballet, jazz dance, lyrical dance (a mixture of the two aforementioned dance styles and contemporary dance) and hip-hop. In addition, she has been an enthusiastic singer since childhood and has performed in various choral groups and musicals. That same year, she starred in an episode of Strong Medicine before making a co-star in the extended cast of long-running soap opera Days of Our Lives.

Benson also found the time during her tenure at Days of Our Lives to appear in other well-known television series in guest roles. For example, until 2007 she appeared in the series Zoey 101 (2005; 1 episode), 7th Heaven (2005; 2 episodes) and OC, (2006; 1 episode). She also landed a starring role in Girls United in 2007 and had a successful 2008 as well.

In 2008, she guest-starred in one episode each of CSI:Miami and Supernatural, and also had supporting roles in the films Bart Got a Room and Mother Goose Parade, and co-starred in Sexy Beasts in High School. In 2009, the young actress finally had a major role in Eastwick, where she was used in twelve of the 13 episodes produced.

The year 2010 began just as successfully, in which she was seen in another leading role with Christmas Cupid, but also made it into the cast of Pretty Little Liars as one of the leading actresses, where she can be seen as it girl Hanna Marin was. Along with fellow liars Spencer Hastings, Emily Fields, Aria Montgomery, and Alison DiLaurentis, they uncover many mysteries and try to figure out who the mysterious "-A" is. In 2012, she starred in the feature film Spring Breakers alongside Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens.

Her life partner was Cara Delevingne. Benson met Delevingne while filmingHer Smell in the spring of 2018. The couple went public with their relationship in June 2019, and they separated in April 2020. Benson has been in arelationship with American rapperG-Eazy since May 2020.
