Biography of Erin Heatherton

Erin Heather Bubley was born on March 4, 1989, known as Erin Heatherton, is an American model who was a Victoria's Secret angel from 2010 to 2013.

Erin was born and raised in Skokie, Illinois, the daughter of Mark Bubley and Laura Stein. Her family is Jewish and she attended Solomon Schechter Day School, a Jewish school, as well as Niles North High School.

Heatherton was discovered by talent scout Arri Taylor in South Beach, Florida on a trip to Miami as a teenager in 2006. At the age of 17, she moved to New York and signed with the agency Marilyn In September 2006 she made her first major job walking the catwalk for Diane von Furstenberg. That same year he became the image of Michael Kors.

In 2008 she walked for Rosa Chá, Valentino, Naeem Khan and Rock & Republic and appeared in advertisements for Diesel and Dolce & Gabbana. The following year she went through the most demanding catwalks, parading for Elie Saab, Jason Wu, Oscar de la Renta, among others.

Other runways she has walked have been for the Colcci and Antalya brand in Turkey, as well as the Dossi Dosso Fashion Show in 2012. She has appeared in Vogue, Marie Claire and GQ magazines.

In 2013 it was announced that she would be the new image of XOXO for the spring/summer season. In 2014 she participated in the opening of the Brazilian fashion store, "Rosa Chá", along with other models such as Barbara Palvin, Frida Gustavsson and Taylor Marie Hill, also parading for the Desigual brand.

She along with Victoria's Secret Angels Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge and Behati Prinsloo led the twelfth "Leather & Laces" for that year's Super Bowl. In 2014 and according to Forbes magazine, she had a turnover of 3 million dollars. She is currently the face of Nordstrom and has been on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Erin participated for the first time on the catwalk of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2008, the following year she entered the group of favorite models on the catwalk and in 2010 she participated in her first parade as an angel. In 2012 she ends her contract as an angel, to continue working as a conventional model for the brand. She made her last fashion show in 2013.

Between 2011 and 2012 she was a partner of actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

Since mid-2021, she has been in a relationship with Polish-born businessman Karol Kocemba. They announced their engagement in early March 2022.

Fashion stylist Clare Byrne sued Heatherton in 2017 for $10 million in compensation for a proposed sportswear brand called RetroActive that she never got off the ground.
