Biography of Tamannaah Bhatia
Tamannaah Bhatia was born in Bombay, Maharashtra, on December 21, 1989. She is known simply as Tamanna and occasionally Thamannah. She is an Indian actress popular in the film industries in the Tamil and Telugu languages. She has also appeared in some Bollywood movies. In addition to acting, she also participates in theater shows and is a celebrity who stands out for endorsing brands and products.
She has an older brother named Anand. Her father is a diamond merchant. Tamannaah is a descendant of the Pueblo sindhi. He completed his basic studies at the Maneckji Cooper School in Bombay. Later she changed her stage name for numerological reasons, varying it slightly until deciding to use only the name Tamannaah. Since she was 13 years old she has been part of the media world, when she was discovered at a school function and was offered to be part of the popular Prithvi Theater for a year.
In 2005 she made her Bollywood film debut at the age of fifteen, appearing in the movie Chand Sa Roshan Chehra. The same year she made her Tollywood debut with her participation in the film Sri, and a year later she joined the cast of the Tamil film Kedi. In 2007 she starred in two youth dramas, Happy Days (Telugu) and Kalloori (Tamil).
She is one of the highest paid actresses in South Indian cinema and has acted in about 60 films in three different languages.
She was the first Indian actress to achieve a nomination at the Saturn Awards in the category of Best Supporting Actress. She also received the "Dayawati Modi" award in 2017 and an honorary doctorate from CIAC in association with KEISIE International University for his contributions to Indian cinema.
Tamannaah has been a model for several advertising campaigns. She has been the face of popular brands such as Celkon, Fanta and Chandrika Ayurvedic. Before entering the film industry she acted in commercials in Tamil for brands such as Shakthi Masala, Power Soap and Sun Direct. In 2014 she posed for an advertising campaign for the organization PETA, encouraging consumers to buy cosmetics that have not been tested on animals. In March 2015 she signed a contract as the image of the Zee Telugu television channel.
