Stella Maxwell was born on May 15, 1990 in Brussels, Belgium. She is a British model. She is one of the "Angels" of the lingerie brand Victoria's Secret.

Stella Maxwell comes from a family originally from Northern Ireland. She was born and raised in Belgium, where her father was a diplomat, until the age of thirteen, pursuing a school course at the European School of Brussels II in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert.

She then left Belgium with her family for Canberra in Australia, before settling in Wellington in New Zealand at the age of fourteen. She studied at Queen Margaret College and the University of Otago.

She has been walking for Victoria's Secret since 2014. The following year, she became an Angel of the mark.

During her career, she parades for the brands Jeremy Scott, Marc Jacobs, Tommy Hilfiger, or Moschino and poses for Alexander McQueen, Asos, H&M, Karl Lagerfeld, Roberto Cavalli, Urban Outfitters and Topshop.

Stella Maxwell poses on the covers of fashion magazines Vogue Germany, Vogue Turkey, Vogue Spain (alongside models Elsa Hosk, Martha Hunt, Jasmine Tookes, Sara Sampaio, Romee Strijd and Taylor Marie Hill), Vogue Thailand, Elle, Numéro, Grazia , Maxim, and Harper's Bazaar.

She also appears in the pages of Glamour, i-D, Interview, Jalouse, Mixte, Purple, The Last Magazine, 7000, and Dress to Kill.

From July to August 2015, she had a brief affair with singer Miley Cyrus.

From December 2016 to November 2018, she is in a relationship with actress Kristen Stewart.
