Biography of Tara Reid

Tara Reid was born on November 8, 1975 in Wyckoff, New Jersey. She is an American film actress and model.

Tara Reid was born to Donna and Tom Reid in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Both parents were teachers and owned a few day care centers. She attended Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School and then transferred to Ramapo High School. She later attended the Professional Children's School in New York City. She has a younger sister, Colleen, and two brothers, Tom and Patrick.

Her career in front of the camera began at the age of six when she starred on the children's game show Child's Play. She later starred in commercials for Jell-O, McDonald's and Crayola. Reid made her film debut in the 1987 horror film Salem II. Guest appearances on the series Saved by the Bell: The New Class and California Dreams followed. In 1998 she played her first major role in The Big Lebowski as Bunny Lebowski. In the same year she also appeared in the films I Woke Up Early the Day I Died, Girl and as a DJ in Urban Legend.

Her breakthrough came in 1999 as Victoria "Vicky" Lathum in the comedy American Pie. American Pie was followed by some less successful films like Dr. T and the Women and Just Visiting – full throttle into the future. In 2001 she was again able to record greater success in the role of Vicky in American Pie 2. In 2005 she starred in the TV movie Hitched and in the two horror films Fear Factory and Alone in the Dark as well as the action film Silent Partner. In the years 2003 to 2005 she also completed eleven guest appearances in the medical sitcom Scrubs. She also starred in the horrortrash Sharknado - Enough said! (2013) with, also in the five further sequels.

In the January/February 2010 issue of the US edition of Playboy magazine, Tara Reid was featured on the cover and in a series of photos.

In August 2011, she married her boyfriend Zack Kehayov in Greece, but did not have the marriage officially confirmed. The two are now separated again.
