Biography of Pink
Pink was born on September 8, 1979 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
She is the daughter of a nurse, Judy, and an insurance salesman, Jim Moore, a veteran of the Vietnam War. Her father was Catholic and of Irish and German descent, her mother Jewish and of Lithuanian and German descent.
She began her career as an R&B artist and began to gain fame in the early 2000s, the year her first solo album Can't Take Me Home appeared, with songs like There you Go, Most Girls.
She was internationally recognized since her participation in the version of Lady Marmalade with Christina Aguilera, Mya, Lil 'Kim and Missy Elliot, for the soundtrack of the movie Moulin Rouge!.
In 2001 she released her album Missundaztood, which included tracks such as Get the Party Started, Don't Let Me Get Me and Just Like a Pill, and a feature on Steven Tyler's Misery.
In 2006 she appeared on her I'm Not Dead. In 2008, she released Funhouse, her fifth album, with the most successful single of her career: So What, which was ranked number one in more than 25 countries. Sober her second single, number one was proclaimed in several European countries and in Australia.
On November 16, 2010 she releases her Greatest Hits...So Far!!! her first compilation album. The single Blow Me (One Last Kiss) was released on July 3, 2012, a preview of her sixth studio album The Truth About Love.
In 2010 she performed at the grammy awards with the song Glitter in the air and with the same show as her closing Funhouse Tour.
In June 2017, Pink announced the recording of her seventh studio effort. What About Us, the first single from her album Beautiful Trauma, was released on August 10, 2017. The album was released on October 13, 2017.
On April 17, 2018, she topped People magazine's 100 Most Beautiful People list.
On February 12, 2021, she releases the song Cover Me in Sunshine, a duet with her daughter Willow Sage Hart. The live album titled All I Know So Far: Setlist, was released on May 21.
She married motocross racer Carey Hart in Costa Rica on January 7, 2006. In February 2008 she announced that she and Hart had split. Hart subsequently appeared in her 2008 video for her song So What, which deals with her breakup. They did couples therapy during their breakup and in February 2010, she confirmed that she and Hart were back together.
In November 2010, she announced that they were expecting her first child. On June 2, 2011, she gave birth to her daughter, Willow Sage Hart. In December 2016, she had Jameson, her second child.
