Biography of Patricia Arquette
Patricia Arquette was born on April 8, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois.
She is the daughter of actor Lewis Arquette and actress Brenda Nowak. Her father converted from Catholicism to Islam, her mother was Jewish (from a family that emigrated from Poland and Russia). Her paternal grandfather was comedian Cliff Arquette. Additionally, her siblings Rosanna Arquette, Alexis, Richmond, and David are also actors.
She debuted in the theater when she was only nine years old. At fifteen she moved in with her older sister Rosanna, and she began working in show business at eighteen.
She made her feature film debut as Kristen Parker in Chuck Russell's A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987).
She starred in Love at close range to whose screenwriter, Quentin Tarantino was romantically linked. She had her son from her relationship with a musician who owned a video company. The boy acted as her fictional son in the epilogue scenes of Love at close range.
She was paid a million dollars for her work under John Boorman on Beyond Rangoon.
In 2009 Patricia Arquette, who starred in the series Medium, made her directorial debut with the recording of the last episodes of the fifth season.
In 2019, she acted in eight episodes of the series The Act, and in 2022, she co-stars in the Apple TV+ series Severance.
For her performance in Boyhood (2014) she received critical acclaim and won the Academy Award, BAFTA, Critics' Choice Award, Golden Globe Award, Independent Spirit Award, Satellite Award, and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress delivery.
On February 22, 2015, she won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Boyhood, the first of her career.
On January 6, 2019, she was awarded a Golden Globe in the category Best Actress in a Miniseries or TV Movie 2018 for Escape at Dannemora.
Arquette became pregnant at the age of twenty with her son Enzo Rossi (born January 3, 1989), her father was musician Paul Rossi.
She married actor Nicolas Cage in Las Vegas in April 1995, they divorced in 2001.
In 2003 she gave birth to her second child, Harlow Olivia, whom she had with actor Thomas Jane, whom she married on June 25, 2006, at the Palazzo Contarini in Venice, Italy.
In January 2009, Arquette filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences, and although the couple reconciled, they ultimately divorced on July 1, 2011.
