Biography of Avril Lavigne
Avril Ramona Lavigne was born on September 27, 1984, in Belleville, Canada and is better known by her stage name Avril Lavigne. The singer and songwriter achieved great success as a teenager with her pop-rock songs.
Her talent was evident when she was two years old and the singer began to perform in the church and at local events. Christian songs and country songs will dominate her first songs, and her country, aligned with her rigid Christian faith, will carefully monitor her musical choice. Her ability and confidence early came to the attention of her first businessman, who saw a presentation in 1999 in a bookstore, when she was 14 years old. She won a contest to do a duet with Canadian icon Shania Twain.
With permission from two countries, Lavigne left school and moved to New York as her mother. She worked as a professional music producer and assistant, aged 16, with a contract for two albums worth approximately US$1.25 million.
After moving to Los Angeles to refine her songs, her first album, Let Go, premiered in 2002 and was 6 times platinum. Thanks to the successful singles "Complicated" and "Sk8er Boi", the album sold more than 15 million copies worldwide.
His popularity and fame will continue with the albums Under My Skin (2004), The Best Damn Thing (2007), and Goodbye Lullaby (2011).
In her early years of performance, Lavigne was nicknamed “Punk Princess” for her punk clothes and multicolored hair. Teenagers from all over the world imitate her style of exclusive clothes, especially blouses and t-shirts with gravatas. She was perceived as a contrast between singer Britney Spears and her softened personality as she matured.
