Bebe Rexha (Bleta Rexha) was born on August 30, 1989, Brooklyn, New York. She is an Albanian-American singer-songwriter and record producer. Gained fame after releasing the singles "Take Me Home" (together with Cash Cash, 2013), "Hey Mama" (together with David Guetta, 2015) and "In the Name of Love" (together with Martin Garrix, 2016). Previously, she performed as a vocalist in the Black Cards, created by Pete Wentz. Rexha also co-wrote Eminem and Rihanna's hit "The Monster". She also wrote songs for Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas. On April 15, 2019, the singer announced that she had bipolar disorder.
Bleta Rexha was born on August 30, 1989 in Brooklyn, New York, USA, in a family of ethnic Albanians (the Albanian version of the surname is Reja), who came from the modern city of Debar, Macedonia . Has Macedonian and American citizenship.
Rexha began to get involved in music at the age of 4 years, and subsequently took part in productions of such musicals at the Tottenville High School in Staten Island as "Hello, Dolly!", "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Fiddler on the Roof" . She is inspired by musicians such as Stevie Wonder, Tori Amos, John Legend and The Temptations.
As a teenager, Rexha was honored with the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences' Best Composer Award at the annual Grammy Day in New York, which brought her into contact with many prominent music producers.
In 2010, the singer joined the Black Cards project created by Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz. In January 2012, the singer left the Black Cards, motivating her decision to focus on her solo career. According to Wentz, the breakup happened by mutual agreement.
In 2013, Rexha signed with Warner Bros. executives. Records with Jeff Fenster and Alex Wilhelm due to his success as a professional composer, composing the song "Like a Champion" for Selena Gomez from the Stars Dance album, then the single "Glowing" for South African native Nikki Wilhelms and the song "The Monster" for Eminem and Rihanna, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
That same year, Rexha released an original pop track on her SoundCloud page, "Comeback Kids", and a collaborative single with electronic dance music group Cash Cash, "Take Me Home", which peaked at number 57 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Rexha is working on her debut album, which is associated with the studios of such producers as David Guetta, Fraser Smith, Frequency and others. On March 21, 2014, the singer released the first single from her debut album, "I Can't Stop Drinking About You", through Warner Bros. records. On December 23, 2014, Rexha released her second single "I'm Gonna Show You Crazy". Then, on the same day, she released the song "Gone".

On October 28, 2016, Rexha released the single "I Got You", which was included in the mini-album All Your Fault: Pt. 1.
On March 21, Rexha announced on her Twitter that her third mini album All Your Fault Pt. 2 will be released in April (it was released on August 11, 2017).
On June 22, Expectations was released by Warner Bros. Records. On October 9, the Recording Industry Association of America awarded the debut album of the singer a "gold" certificate for more than 500,000 sold copies.
In 2018, the singer was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best New Artist category, but in the end, this award was awarded to Dua Lipa.
On October 9, 2020, the single "Baby, I'm Jealous" was released, recorded by Bebe Reksa with the participation of Doja Cat.
On March 5, 2021, she released her new single "Sacrifice", the video premiered on the same day. In March 2021, Rexha launched a line of accessories with Puma called Bebe X Puma, which is sold exclusively in European Diechmann stores.
On April 14, 2021, she announced that her second album, Better Mistakes, is scheduled to be released on May 7, 2021. Also on April 14, 2021, Rexha announced that the third single from the album titled "Sabotage" would be released on April 16, 2021.
On April 30, Rexha released the fourth single "Die for a Man" featuring Lil Uzi Vert from her upcoming album. On May 7, she released her second studio album, Better Mistakes, along with the music video for "Break My Heart Myself".
