Kaia Jordan Gerber was born on September 3, 2001. She is an American model and actress.

Kaia Jordan Gerber is the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. His father was born in New York in a modest family, he is a former model best known thanks to his career in business. Her mother is of German, English, French and Danish descent and was a well-known supermodel in the 1990s. Her older brother is model Presley Gerber. At the age of 10, Kaia Gerber took part in her first fashion show with "Versace Junior". She made her acting debut at the age of fifteen in the TV movie Sister Cities (2016).

Kaia Gerber made her modeling debut in 2017, aged 16, for Raf Simons' Calvin Klein collection. In her early days, she also participated in a series of advertising campaigns for brands such as Marc Jacobs, Versace, Saint Laurent, Miu Miu, Valentino, Chanel.

She poses for magazines such as Vogue, Teen Vogue and Pop Magazine, The Love Magazine and I-D. She then scrolls for fashion houses such as Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Alexander Wang, Prada, Fendi, Moschino, Alexander McQueen. She landed her first solo Vogue cover in the February 2018 issue of Vogue Paris. She walked alongside her mother during Fashion Week 2018 at the Versace show.

Kaia Gerber also appears in Spring 2018 editions for Versace, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs and Omega. In 2018, she is, alongside model Sofia Mechetner, the face of the Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume. In 2018, she simultaneously obtained campaigns for Chanel (“handbags stories”) and Valentino (“pre-autumn”). She collaborated with the designer Karl Lagerfeld to create the KarlxKaia collection, which is also the first designed solely by her.

She was awarded the title of "Model of the Year" at the Fashion Awards 2018.

From fall 2019 to early 2020 she dated comedian Pete Davidson. She then began a relationship with actor Jacob Elordi from September 2020 to November 2021. Since the end of 2021 she has been in a relationship with actor Austin Butler.
