Biography of Chrissy Teigen

Christine Diane Teigen, simply called Chrissy Teigen, was born on November 30, 1985. She is an American model and TV personality.

She became known to the general public thanks to the TV shows Lip Sync Battle, FABLife and Chrissy's Court.

She is of Norwegian origin from her father and Thais from her mother. She has lived in California since her teens.

She started modeling in 2004 after being discovered by a photographer during her shift in a surf shop. She made her debut in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2010.

In 2014 she appeared on the cover of the prestigious magazine along with Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge. She has also appeared in Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, Esquire, Glamor and Cosmopolitan magazines.

In 2015 she co-hosts the Lip Sync Battle program and the FABLife talk show. She also poses for various clothing brands such as Olay, Nike, Skullcandy Headphones, Gap Factory, XOXO, UGG Australia, Rock and Republic, Billabong, Beach Bunny Swimwear, Revolve and many more. Sometimes she was one of the creators of the collections herself.

In 2017 she entered for the first time in the ranking of the highest paid models of the year, drawn up by Forbes magazine, being positioned in third place with a gain of 13.5 million dollars, a figure reached thanks to collaborations with the brands Target, Vita Coco, Becca Cosmetics and Smirnoff.

In April 2019 she was listed by Time magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential People of 2019, in the Pioneers category.

On September 14, 2013, she marries singer John Legend; the couple have two children, Luna Simone, born on April 14, 2016, and Miles Theodore, born on May 16, 2018.

After giving birth to her first daughter, she suffered from postpartum depression. On 1 October 2020, through her post Instagram, she Christine communicates that she has lost her third child, Jack, to a miscarriage. In August 2022 she Chrissy she announces that she is pregnant again.
