Disha Patani was born on June 13, 1992, Bareli, Uttar Pradesh, India. She is an Indian actress and fashion model.

Before starting her career as an actress, she managed to become a fashion model and participate in some commercials, and also took second place in the Femina Miss Diva contest.

In 2015, she made her debut in the Telugu film Loafer. Despite not being fluent in the language, she received critical acclaim for her acting. The film failed at the box office.

A year later, she made her Bollywood debut in the film M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, where she played the ex-lover of the protagonist, the film achieved commercial success and received positive reviews from critics, and the actress won several awards for the best debut, including the Screen Award and Stardust Award.

In 2017, she made her international debut in Kung Fu Yoga, starring Jackie Chan. Her character Ashmita is a young professor at the Institute of the National Museum, who helps the protagonist find treasure. She also took part in the promotional campaign of the film in India, the film itself was a commercial success.

In 2018, the film "Baaghi 2" was released, in which she played her first full-fledged role in Bollywood and where Tiger Shroff became her partner. Despite negative reviews from critics, the film was a success at the box office.
