Elsa Anna Sofie Hosk was born on November 7, 1988 in Stockholm. She is a Swedish model.

Elsa Hosk grew up in Sweden and attended Enskilda Gymnasiet. She started getting offers as a model while still at school, after her father had sent photos to various Swedish agencies, so she started working as a model at the age of 14. During high school she did some projects for Guess and other companies, but continued to focus on her schooling.

After graduating from high school, she decided to pursue a career as a professional basketball player and played in the Swedish women's league for two years. In her estimation, while the level in Sweden was nowhere near that of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and interest in the sport isn't that great in Sweden, she believes they have the intense training of up to eight practice sessions a week Week and travel well prepared for the later hardships in the fashion world.

She has been in a relationship with British businessman Tom Daly since 2015. The couple had a daughter, Tuulikki Joan Daly was born on February 11, 2021.
