Miranda May Kerr was born on April 20, 1983 in Sydney, New South Wales. She is an Australian model.

Miranda Kerr is the eldest child of Therese and John Kerr and has a brother named Matthew. She grew up in Gunnedah, a small town in New South Wales. She began modeling in 1997 after winning a modeling contest at age 13. Kerr attended All Hallows Catholic Girls High School in Brisbane.

In 2006, she made her debut at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show with Jessica Stam, among others. After Gisele Bundchen was fired from Victoria's Secret, Kerr was given her place as the new "Angel". She is under contract with the model agency IMG.

She was also a brand ambassador for department store chain David Jones from 2008 to 2013. Kerr walked the shows of Chanel, Balenciaga, Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, Loewe, Dior, John Galliano, MiuMiu, Sonia Rykiel, Vionet and Michael Kors. She has graced the covers and editorials of Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, GQ, i-D Magazine, Numéro, V Magazine, W Magazine, Love Magazine, Allure. GHD, The Edit, Rolling Stone, Esquire, Purple Fashion Magazine, Madison Magazine, Jalouse Magazine, Russh Magazine, Lucky Magazine and Glamour. Kerr shot campaigns for Clinique, XOXO, Prada, Jil Sander, Rag & Bone, Bally, Mango, and Orchily. She is the brand ambassador for Escada's Joyful fragrance.

In June 2009, she posed naked tied to a tree for Rolling Stone magazine's Australian edition to raise awareness of the koala's threatened extinction.

Photographer Terry Richardson captured Kerr for the 2010 Pirelli Calendar.

She has been the new face of Swarovski since October 2013.

In February 2014, she became the face of H&M, replacing Gisele Bundchen. She also advertised for Reebok and Escada Joyful in the same year. She released her first single with Bobby Fox in the form of a cover of Elvis Presley's You're The Boss. She later collaborated with the Royal Albert company and created her own collection of teacups. She starred in an episode of How I Met Your Mother in 2007 for 4 seconds.

Miranda Kerr has been in a relationship with English actor Orlando Bloom since 2007 and has been married to him since July 22, 2010. In January 2011, Kerr and Bloom's son Flynn Christopher Bloom was born. The couple separated in 2013.

In July 2016, Kerr announced her engagement to Evan Spiegel. The wedding took place on May 27, 2017. They have two sons born in 2018 and 2019.
