Biography of Lili Reinhart

Lili Pauline Reinhart was born on September 13, 1996 in Cleveland, Ohio. She is an American actress, best known for her role as Betty Cooper on The CW television series Riverdale.

Lili Reinhart grew up in Bay Village near Cleveland. She began acting as a child in local amateur theaters.

Reinhart's guest appearances include one in the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit or one in the drama-comedy The Kings of Summer (2013). On February 9, 2016, she was cast in the role of Betty Cooper on the teen drama series Riverdale. She received the 2017 Teen Choice Award in the Breakout Star category for this role. In 2019, she starred in Lorene Scafaria's drama Hustlers alongside Jennifer Lopez, Keke Palmer and Constance Wu.

In June 2019, it was announced that Reinhart had been cast as the lead in the film Chemical Hearts, produced by Amazon Studios and based on the book of the same name by Krystal Sutherland. She also served as the film's executive producer.

In March 2021, it was announced that Reinhart had been cast in Wanuri Kahiu's film Look Both Ways. Reinhart will play Natalie, a college student whose life falls into two parallel realities on the eve of her college graduation. In one reality, she becomes pregnant and has to deal with motherhood as a young adult; in the other, she's moving to LA to pursue her career.

Lili Reinhart announced in early February 2018 that she suffered from "severe depression" before her role in the series Riverdale. She was encouraged to come forward with this information by Demi Lovato, who once went public with her own mental illness.

From February 2017 to January 2020 she was in a relationship with actor Cole Sprouse.

As part of a protest against the death of George Floyd in early June 2020 for queer people, Reinhart came out as bisexual.
